Shipping Information

A2Z Toys' Free Shipping Policy:

A2Z Toys will provide FREE UPS Ground shipping on any order being shipped to one single location within the continental United States, where the total cost of the merchandise ordered, excluding any tax or other charges, is $79.99 or more. The following exceptions apply to this policy:

• Oversize items: Certain items that we sell are quite large, and therefore fall under the UPS "Oversize" designation. In these cases, we have programmed the web site to add a pre-set oversize charge depending on the usual oversize rate charged by UPS. In these cases, you will see the oversize charge as a shipping amount added at checkout (before you submit your order.) In rare cases we do encounter extra charges on oversize items going to certain remote parts of the country, and the web site will not add the addditonal amount. In these rare cases, we will always contact you and obtain your permission before charging any additional amount to your credit card.
• Express shipping: UPS 3 Day, 2 Day, Next Day or other express shipping orders are EXCLUDED from our free shipping offer. Only UPS Ground shipping within the continental US is provided free if your order sub total is above the free shipping amount. Please refer to the chart below for how the web site calculates express shipping charges.
• USPS Priority Mail: If shipping to a P.O. Box within the continental US, we will include free shipping for USPS Priority Mail Service, however we will adjust out the shipping amount manually later, after receiving your order. Oversize charges still may apply. All orders to other locations, including APO and FPO shipments must be charged shipping for USPS Priority Mail.
• Your location: Free UPS Ground shipping is only applicable to orders shipped to the 48 contiguous continental United States. Alaska, Hawaii, and other locations outside the continental US are excluded from free shipping.
• Multiple locations: We will only provide free shipping to ONE shipping address. If you specify 2 or more separate shipping addresses you will be charged shipping. We will contact you and obtain your permission first in these cases.
• Other restrictions may apply. In any case where we must charge a shipping amount or the total of your order exceeds what the web site charged for any reason, our policy is to obtain your permission first before charging your credit card. Your credit card is never charged until your order actually ships.

How is Shipping Calculated?

Shipping is calculated automatically for you by our Shopping Cart system. All shipping charges are calculated pre-tax on the merchandise only.
If you live in the State of Illinois, our web site will calculate and charge Illinois State Sales Tax at 7.00% of the merchandise total.

How Will My Order Be Shipped?

Though UPS may be more expensive than other carriers in some cases, UPS has been selected as our carrier of choice because UPS provides:

• reliable shipping
• online package tracking
• product insurance
• quick problem resolution

Priority Mail through the USPS will be used when shipping to a P.O. Box, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, U.S.V.I., and APO/FPO Addresses.

Parcel Post through the USPS will be used when shipping orders containing model rocket motors.

What are My Shipping Options?

Please note the following:

• Processing times and delivery times are based on business days. Weekends and holidays are excluded.
• Selecting Second Day Air or Next Day Air only reduces shipping time once the product leaves our store. It does not reduce our processing time.
• Rocket motors cannot be shipped Second Day Air or Next Day Air. They must be shipped Parcel Post (see below).
• You will be notified vie email if your order cannot be processed and shipped according to your selections.
• Some items may incur additional shipping charges, over and above what is reflected in your order total. If this is the case, we will notify you prior to shipping.
  In these cases, we require your acknowledgement of the difference in shipping charges before we can ship your order or charge your credit card. We will make every attempt to contact you as soon as possible via the email address and phone number you have provided us in your order. If we are not able to receive your approval for any additional charges your order will not be shipped, and your credit card will not be charged.
